Jared B. Staver
Mr. Staver co-founded the law firm of Staver & Gainsberg, P.C. with his partner, Neal Gainsberg. He practices extensively in personal injuries, insurance disputes and bankruptcy law. Mr. Staver takes great pride in representing individuals in their claims against negligent companies and careless individuals. Prior to forming Staver & Gainsberg, P.C., Mr. Staver worked for a large Chicago personal injury law firm. Mr. Staver quickly learned what it takes to become successful at representing injured victims. He also observed how larger firms operated and decided he wanted to provide his clients with a more personal approach to legal representation. After well over 10 years of defending the rights of individuals from all walks of life, Mr. Staver has excelled to become a compassionate advocate for people’s rights as well as a fierce litigator with a no nonsense approach to litigation. Mr. Staver earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Arts and Sciences from Iowa State University. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School.
Mr. Staver is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Trial Bar of the United State District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. Staver has represented clients in Federal Court as well as numerous counties in Illinois’ State Courts.
Neal S. Gainsberg
Mr. Gainsberg has spent most of his legal career representing injured victims, consumers, and generally the little person against big corporations, insurance companies, banks, finance companies, and other large creditors. His law practice is about protecting his clients’ rights, obtaining large monetary rewards on their behalf, and making sure the law is on their side whether they are an injured victim or a consumer seeking debt protection.
After clerking for llinois Appellate Court Justice Margaret O’Mara Frossard, Mr. Gainsberg co-founded the law firm of Staver & Gainsberg, P.C. with his law partner, Jared Staver. The law offices of Staver & Gainsberg, P.C. has been open since October 2001 and concentrates on plaintiff’s personal injury and consumer bankruptcy cases. During that time, Mr. Gainsberg has represented numerous injured victims in auto accident cases, slip and fall cases, work injuries, medical malpractice cases, and first party insurance cases. He has successfully obtained verdicts and large settlements for his injured clients.
Mr. Gainsberg has also represented many consumers seeking debt relief under Chapters 7 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Gainsberg has the knowledge and experience to protect consumers’ rights to debt relief and all rights afforded under both Federal and Illinois law.
Mr. Gainsberg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison where he graduated with distinction. He received his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law where he graduated with high honors and was a member of the law review.
